Random list︎︎︎
An easy way to get a phrase or gesture base started without feeling like you need to create from ground zero...
- Have participants all write down singular movements on small pieces of paper. They can be simple- like turn to the right, touch floor with head, reach behind you etc...-Compile as many as you can, its great to have a large pile to work with.
- Have each choose 10-15 pieces of random paper (without looking)- place them in an order and list them on paper. Execture these movements as written and connect them into a phrase you can repeate.
- This excersise can also be theme based. (ex: What are movements that we do in the city?)
